Federico Naef (b. 1962), a photographer from Zurich, has mastered the art of developing and implementing innovative and creative ideas to achieve aesthetic and meaningful images. Starting his career as a freelance assistant for various fashion photographers, Federico then worked as a paparazzo for several publishing houses. This experience allowed him to expand his range of competencies and refine his skills in press photography. He later created numerous works in fashion, beauty, and advertising, specializing in portraits, still lifes, and food photography. With his profound knowledge across various fields, he was appointed the photographer for the Zurich Opera Ballet. Federico’s art focuses on societal tendencies, nature’s beauty, current events, and more, utilizing both digital and analogue photography. His distinguished work has earned him several accolades, including the ADC Gold for Amnesty International's "Not Here But Now" campaign and the “Keeper of the Flame” award. Federico Naef has worked abroad in various world capitals and participated in international exhibitions. His commitment to continuous self-development has shaped him into the artist he is today.
