Elena Tomilova is a Moldavian artist Born in 1986 Chisinau, Moldova.
She studied Fine Arts at the Academy of Arts, Chisinau (painting class prof. I. Serbinov) (graduated in 2008).
In 2018, she obtained a Master degree at University I.Creanga, Chisinau (painting class V.Fisticanu).
She started with oil painting, but then began acrylic experiments, and now both materials are included in the creative process. Participated in several art-projects, international art camps, group and personal exhibitions. She was member and administrator of the unique for Moldova alternative art organization “Art-Labyrinth”.

Artworks of Elena Tomilova represent a mix of figurative and abstract art, with symbolic style and experimental way of figurative painting. Woman's image and body is one of the central parts in her art. Connection between body and soul, inner and outside world, simplicity of life, thoughts and feelings, feeling of being a woman - all you can find in her paintings.
