Born in Ukraine in 1995, Daria moved to Bergamo in 2005. After graduating in Fine Arts Academy Giacomo Carrara, she mainly works with installation, performance, painting and video. Her research is based on investigation of the human perception of the world. "We are mainly influenced by our habitat, way of living and a lot of diffierent factors that making us act right in the way we do" - says the artist.
 
Daria's work focuses on the cultural and political issues of her home country - Ukraine. Through art, she deals with such themes as history, memory, everyday life, and pain through personal interpretation. In addition, she emphasises anthropological reflection on borders, language, and war. She works mainly with installation, painting, and performance.
